DUAL HONDO

This is a 2010 AQHA Silver Grulla stud colt aka Hondo.  He was born on 2/19/2010.  Hondo is a beautiful colt with the prettiest baby doll head and HUGE big fat hip on him.  He looks a lot like his daddy, just a lighter shade of Grulla!!!  Hondo is a real head turner for not just his beautiful unique silver grulla color, but his overall appearance.  To add to that he has the pedigree to back him up as well.  His sire is our very own, WR Dual Twist who is an own son of the $3 Million Dollar Sire, Mister Dual Pep.  Hondo has several performing half brothers and sisters that have excelled in cutting, team roping, reining and working cow horse.  Hondo's mother is real pretty silver grulla, foundation bred, and she carries the bloodlines of Bill Cody, Wimpy, Sonny Dee Bar, Par Three, Babe Cody, and many more.  What a nice colt!  Hondo is HOMOZYGOUS for the Dun gene (tested by UC Davis and the results are D/D.)  This means all of his offspring will be either Grulla, Dun or Red Dun no matter what color the mare is that you breed him to.  Hondo is quality enough to be a stallion prospect and on top of that he will only produce Grullas and Duns.  Hondo has the good looks, good correct conformation, and has plenty of bone.  Oh and a second applause to his beautiful head, BIG butt, and soft eyes!  Also, Hondo has no white on him except a small star on his head, but otherwise good solid hard black feet.  This is a very stunning colt that has the potential to go in many different directions such as stallion prospect, reining prospect, cutting prospect, and roping prospect...  The opportunities are endless for him!  Hondo is halter broke and feather light in his face.  He is so smart and easy to teach to, and he is weaned and ready to go.  $5,000.
