CHECKS A COMING LYNX

Checks A Coming Lynx is a 1999 AQHA Sorrel Mare aka Checkers.  Checkers has a big white spot on the left side of her tail which adds lots of chrome to her flashy look.  Checkers has had a lot of cutting training as a 3 and 4 year old, and also has had 6 months of reining training about 2 years ago.  She is gentle to ride and has a really good handle on her.  She does lead changes and all of that fun reining stuff.  On top of that she will cut a cow too in the cutting pen!  And is real good at it!  She has real big pretty sweeps and moves and you can put your hand down on her and just let her work!  She is not "completely" finished in either departments, but is far enough along in the cutting pen that she is not far from being ready to show.  She just needs a good tuning up.  Checkers has has 1 foal and it was a red dun filly born in 2009, but she is left open now so she can be rode.  She was an easy breeder and good mother.  Checkers would probably be really fun to do cutting, ranch cutting on, or sorting on, or even just trail riding.  And of course a broodmare.  She is good on the trails and doesn't easily spook or goose at anything, but is still alert and aware of her surroundings.  Checkers is a good looking mare that has good bone, good size, and great conformation.  She is correct all over and stands about 14.2 or 3hh.  She has a sweet and gentle disposition.  Checkers has never been lame, has good feet, and is good with the farrier.  She is currently barefoot, but she has had shoes on in the past when she was in training.  As you can see in the pictures she has a big nice hip, good front end, pretty head, good solid feet, and lots of chrome!  In Checkers's pedigree she has Please Send Money, Dual Pep, Peppy San Badger, Miss Dual Doc, Lynx Star Lady, Doc's Lynx, and many more good ones.  Checkers is a granddaughter of Dual Pep and Lynx Star Lady, that's enough to be a good one in my book!  SOLD!  THANKS JULIE WEEKS IN COLORADO!!
