CALIENTE HOMBRE

Caliente Hombre is a 1993 AQHA sorrel stallion.  Caliente is one heck of a horse and well mannered.  He has an excellent handle on him.  Earlier in his years he had a year of reining training.  He is very fun to ride because he is so light and automatic.  He is gentle for almost anyone to ride.  We have owned him for 2 years and have never bred a mare to him.  He has great conformation and is real shapey.  He has muscle in all of the right places and not 1 stitch of white hair on him including good strong all black feet.  We keep him shod because we use him sometimes.  You can do just about anything on him and catch him anywhere.  He is extremely gentle and easy to get along with.  He stands 14.2 hands and does NOT have any bad habits.  Caliente cuts, ropes, does ranch work, trail rides, etc.  He would probably load in the back of your truck if you asked him to.  That is how willing and trusting he is.  If you are looking for a ranch horse, sorting horse, or just a fun horse to trail ride on or do SHOT shows etc, he is the one!! Caliente would also make a great herd sire.  He would be perfect to cross over cutting, roping and ranch horse brood mares.  His sire, The Hot Express has 500+ AQHA points and is a producer!!!  Now how's that for a pedigree!!  His dam has produced 3 performers, one of which is a full brother to Caliente, another is by Colonel Freckles who has open and youth AQHA points and a NRHA money earner.  He is sound in every way, does NOT have any scars or blemishes and is a VERY easy keeper.  You can stall him or he stays pig fat on pasture.  He runs with other horses here mostly.  Caliente is UTD on everything and is gentle enough for a woman to handle.  SOLD!
