TAMU CHOCOLATE OAK

TAMU Chocolate Oak is a 2008 AQHA Chestnut Gelding aka Oakie.  Oakie is a good looking, puppy dog gentle, type gelding with good shape and size, especially for a 2yo.  Oakie stands about 14.3 hands right now, and he has straight and correct conformation.  He's got great bone and good feet too.  Oakie is broke to ride, and is gentle gentle gentle!  He is like a big ole puppy dog.  When you walk out to the pasture, he walks up to you and is lookin to stick his nose in the halter.  He is so sweet and gentle and very easy to handle.  Oakie rides out the exact same way.  He does not have a very big motor and he has a very mild mind, but he does have some other gears too.  We've got him broke to a rope and lately we have been turning back on him in the cutting pen.  He does not get hyper or excited about anything.  He is going to be one of those horses, when he gets older, that will baby-sit just about anyone!  We have ridden him a bunch out in the pasture and he is ready to go to start the discipline of your choice.  He should excel in just about any cow horse event.  Oakie has a good handle on him, and he responds well to leg pressure.  Oakie does not have a mean bone in his body, even with the other horses.  He picks up all of his feet, he is easy to trim, he has never offered to buck, rear up, or act fresh in anyway and he does not have any bad habits what so ever.  He sports very new and fashionable cutting and reining bloodlines.  His sire, Chocolate Chic Olena, NRHA LTE $100,000+ went down in the record books as the only horse to win both the Non Pro and Ltd Open NRHA Derby. Not only is Chocolate Chic Olena well bred and a World Champion performer, he also is the sire of top reining and cowhorse athletes. During his career in the show pen, Chocolate Chic Olena amassed a brilliant record in both the Open and Non Pro events. He was an AQHA World Champion in Reining, and a 4 Time AQHA Reserve World Champion. After a break from the show pen, Chocolate Chic Olena returned to the show pen, and was a 2-Time USET Open Qualifier Champion. He also earned 165 AQHA Points during his show career. His limited offspring have earned over $560,000 in NRHA competition, and 465 AQHA points and AQHA Performance ROM.  Chocolate Chic Olena is an own son of Smart Chic Olena.  Smart Chic Olena has NCHA LTE $167,471, and he is NRHA Hall Of Fame, World Champion Senior Reining and Cutting Horse, #2 & 3 All-Time Leading Sire NRHA & NRCHA, $10.7 Million Dollar Sire, and much more (just too much to list it all!)  His momma is an own daughter of Doc's Oak, NCHA LTE $75,658, NCHA Hall Of Fame, All-Time Leading Sire for NCHA and NRHA, and is a $10.6 Million Dollar Sire.  Oakie is extremely sweet and gentle and easy to be around and he is not goosey at all (he's almost a dead head about all the booggers around him).  He has a great appearance, sound mind and sound body, and he is eager to please you every time you get in the saddle.  He has a perfect mind and the best disposition, and he does not have any bad habits, no stall habits and he is currently living on pasture only and he looks great!  He is an easy keeper weather it be the stall or the pasture.  If y want a horse that is dog gentle and that you can grow with that wouldn't even hurt a flea, here he is!  SOLD!  THANKS TIFFANY IN STEPHENVILLE, TX!
