BUCKSBITAPRECRPTION
Bucksbitaprecrption aka Buck is a 1998 AQHA PERLINO
Stallion. Buck is a well put together stallion with a beautiful head
and neck and overall good conformation, and as you can see he has mane and
tail to die for ~ goes all of the way to his knee when it is undone right
now! It keeps growing and growing! Due to a wire injury to his left hind
leg, he was pulled out of reining training close to being ready to show.
Buck can do flying lead changes, spins and sliding stops, but he would not
be 100% sound to hold up to the showing now though. At least he has a
really nice handle on him and lots of training. He has no trouble breeding
though and is VERY sound to breed. His injury happened 8 years ago, so it
is not a problem now. His semen is really really good. We have bred him to
a lot of mares and several hard breeders and he has gotten EVERY mare in
foal right away with no problem ever. Buck is absolutely stunning!! Being
a perlino, Buck cannot produce a red foal. Buck will produce only
buckskins and palominos and rarely smoky black babies on sorrel, bay and
any non gray mares no matter what you breed him to. Buck has only produced
buckskins for us except for 2 palominos. Even on the sorrel mares he
produces mostly buckskins. But no matter what you breed him to he will
always produce color. Buck stands 15hh and is well muscled and he is an
easy keeper. When he is not in the pasture just turned out on grass with
his mares breeding we only feed him a little flake of hay twice a day and
he stays mud fat. Buck is also well mannered and a gentleman for a
stallion and is super easy to handle. We have only pasture bred him but
his previous owners had collected semen from him. Buck is 94% foundation
bred and carries the bloodlines of Rubys Will, Docs Lasso, Doc's
Prescription, Doc Bar, Jessie James, Wimpy II, Easter Buck, and many more
greats! There is a dash of QH race blood in there as well. There are
several money earners and point earners on his papers. He is a great cross
on just about anything! Buck is also registered in the APHA #518,216 but
he has 100% Quarter Horse bloodlines. (He was just eligible for APHA
because of his color.) Buck does not have any bad habits and he bathes,
loads, ties, blankets without a halter, stands good for the farrier, etc.
Buck is a really good stallion, he is healthy, sound for breeding, good
natured and a really good producing sire. His babies have all had very
good dispositions and are gentle mined and athletic. And you can't forget
"PRETTY"! That deserves a second applause! Him AND his babies! His
buckskin babies have all had high black stockings above the knee and most
of them have frosted mane and tails too!
SOLD! THANKS JOHN IN FORT WORTH!
