HAPPY FEET
Happy Feet is a 6 year old black Pony gelding. He does just about
anything you ask of him and has the funniest personality. He is
point and go. Happy Feet has a good handle on him but he is not
quite neck reining all of the way yet. We are working on that
though. Colton has toy-ed with him so much and I just laugh every
time I see what Colton and Happy Feet have come up with next. :)
Colton taught him to climb stairs, go in and out of our deep tack room,
push a broom, swing a rope off of him, hang off the side of him, ride him
in the trailer, you name it, they do it! He is not scared of water
or brush or anything for that matter. Colton wants to start roping
off of him and doing ranch work on him soon if we get time, but he is
already broke to a rope good. Happy Feet wants to watch a cow and
Colton has gathered cattle and loose horses off him too. He is so smart and willing to go anywhere you point him.
Happy Feet has a really nice stop, reverse, rolls over his hocks, and
knows how to use his hinny. He
stands 13.2hh and has correct conformation all over. He is an easy
keeper and has really good bone and muscle. I swear, he has feet
like a donkey, tough and hard as a rock!
Happy Feet clips, bathes, loads (of course) and is easy to catch and
handle. I wouldn't say he is ready for a beginner or inexperienced
rider just yet because he has a really good handle and is very responsive,
but also he rides better with 2 hands right now. He has never
offered to pitch or act up in anyway. He does like to trot and can
trot all day long. All of his gaits are smooth including his lope.
He would be a lot of fun for a kid that knows how to ride or someone that
will play with him like Colton does because you can have blast on him.
Colton and I have ridden him double out in the pasture and both of us have
ridden him a bunch bare back. You can slide off of his but and
Colton has stood up in the saddle on him. Happy Feet has a Texas
sized heart!!! What a fun and smart lil horse!! He is so sweet
and gentle and a blast to be around. Sound and no
scars or blemishes. SOLD! THANKS
KERRY KELLEY IN WEATHERFORD, TX!

Here they are riding into the trailer!
Here he is going in and out of the tack room on him (it is a big step
down in that dark hole!)
Leaning/hanging off the side of him, touching the ground! He
stands still for that too!
Sweeping the barn! Now that's talent!
Here we go! Going up my porch!
Colton shows him 1 time what to do and then gets on and he does it!!
