TSU STANDARD REY

TSU Standard Rey is a 2003 AQHA buckskin gelding aka Big Rey.  Big Rey is a good looking big stout gelding that wears a gorgeous golden buckskin coat.  He stands about 15hh and has great bone and muscle.  He has spent most of his career as a ranch horse roping and dragging calves.  He will also watch a cow real good too.  Big Rey tracks up really really well and has a lot of speed.  He is easy to catch and easy to handle.  He has a heck of a good handle on him, neck reins, has a nice stop and turn around.  He has never been roped off of out of the box, but it shouldn't be a problem to get him started there.  He is already a ranch horse, but he has the handle, personality, the heart, and the conformation to be one hell of a head and heel horse or barrel horse too.  Penning is also something that I think he would be real good at.  He is an all around horse that plan to do ranch rodeos on until he sells.  He is also easy to shoe and is sound but he does have a splint on a hind leg.  For those of you who don't know what they are, they are cosmetic only and actually make the bone even stronger because it calcifies it.  It has never bothered him and he has never taken a lame step.  Vet checks welcome pre purchase.  We have been using him extensively as a ranch horse lately, and he has been rode all over our country and really has a good handle on him.  He has plenty of speed and is burning up with cow.   Big Rey is a super ranch horse deluxe!  His sire is Sonitalena Rey Jay who has won money cutting and at S.H.O.T. shows.  He is an all around horse.  He is an own son of Sonitalena, NCHA LTE $188,876 by Doc O'Lena, NCHA LTE $21,992, and out of Sonitas Joy, NCHA LTE $206,575.  Big Rey's momma is a race bred mare that is an own daughter of Standard Procedure by St Bar by Three Bars.  SOLD!  THANKS TRENT IN MAYPERAL, TX!
