Doc Watch Joe Pat, aka Donut, is a 1999 AQHA bay gelding. This is a chunky made gelding that is so so sweet. He does not have any bad habits such as bite, buck, kick, rear, etc... He usually lets me catch him out in the pasture, but sometimes when he sees the halter he turns away from me. If I take a bucket of feed with me, I can catch him with no problem. He stands about 14.3 at the withers, but is not really that tall. He just has high withers. He has real good bone and good thick healthy flesh. Donut is not barn sour or buddy sour or anything like that. We put shoes on his front feet because we have been riding him in some pretty rough country. He has a really nice stop and neck reins well. This is the horse that we let our friends and family ride that have never been on a horse before. He is perfect for that. I have never put a little kid on him, but Colton's 12 yo niece rode him for a week straight when she was here for summer. That was her first time to ride a horse. Donut took good care of her. SOLD!
