QUICK LENA FAYE Quick Lena Faye is a 2003 AQHA chestnut mare aka Carmen (Carmen Electra...Colton named her after the prettiest girl he knows...) Carmen is a really pretty mare that is by one of our favorite stallions, Docs Quickory. All of his babies have made really nice cutting horses and roping horses too and that is why I am such a big fan of them! I have not seen a dink yet and they all made a hell of a horse. This mare was started late (as a 5yo), but it hasn't bothered her a bit and she is very smart and easy to train. She is a quick, catty kind of mare, but it still pretty quite. She has plenty of cow. Carmen is an easy keeper and this is her condition that you see in the pics, just on pasture. She has no hay or grain in her diet. She's good with the horse shoer and she has correct conformation all over. She is not too little and has good bone. She stands about 14.2 or 3 and weighs about 1,100 lbs. Carmen is now a heel horse that is trained by JB Kirchenschlager. JB is getting along with her real well and she is ready to haul. She is everything you would want as a heel horse, cowy, quiet in the box, solid and sound. We sold a full brother to her for big bucks $$$ that Bobby Lewis trained for us in heading and heeling. He sold to an autistic kid that is roping and doing ranch rodeo's on him. You can check out her full brother Oak Quickory. We own several half sisters and brothers to her and they are all very nice horses. Carmen is a granddaughter of Doc's Hickory and Doc's Oak and is a great granddaughter of Tanquery Gin. This is a mare with a bright look to her, a lot of sense and has the breeding also to back that up. She is awesome broodmare prospect too! SOLD! THANKS ANN IN KERNES, TX!
