Duchess McConnell is a 1993 AQHA Sorrel mare. This is an outstanding, well bred mare that is gorgeous! She was finished in the cutting pen, only shown once and earned .5 AQHA points as a youngster and then added to the broodmare band. She has also produced a NCHA money earner that has won $2,600. She has great conformation, a pretty head, clean throat latch, nice neck, long and strong hip and short mouth. All of the pictures below were taken the day that we weaned a big stout 9 month old colt off of her. As you can tell she keeps herself well. We got her up in March 2009 and saddled her up for her first time in 10 years and she was wonderful. Very gentle and fun to ride. We even took her to the cutting pen and worked her on a cow. That was lots of fun!! She hasn't forgotten what to do even having that much time off. Duchess has currently been exposed to our red roan stallion, Bet On Bluegrass, for 2010. She is priced at $5,500 for the 2-N-1 and is sound in every way. SOLD!! THANKS JON!
