Docs Texas Te is a 1994 AQHA sorrel mare. Docs Texas Te, aka Scarlet, is a real pretty big strong, stout mare that stands 15 hands. She has an excellent handle on her. She is gentle, no buck or bad habits, has a good stop, spins, and works really well off of leg pressure. She had an injury to her right knee this past July 2007, so there is a knot there. She is only sound for light riding but she does not limp hardly at all when you ride her. There are just no guarantees there on her soundness. Scarlet has been used for the past 10 years as a ranch horse. She has never had a baby, but should be no problem to get in foal. I think that she would suit a novis or intermediate rider well, or an older kid, or would even make a great broodmare. She is a granddaughter of Doc Wilson, who earned $121,956 in cutting. She knows a rope and can handle it well, and she also can cut and sort cattle well. Scroll down and you can see some pics of her with a rope and see a picture of her ground tying. Scarlett is currently being exposed to our own Rowdy Blue Man Too for a 2009 baby. $1,500 for the 2-N-1.
These pictures were taken 10-25-07. We were just goofing off swinging a rope off of her. She is very handy!!
This picture on the right, she is ground tying. How's that for manners!! :)
